The Box Elder Fire Dept has an 81 square mile fire district that all of the vehicles below respond to.

This vehicle is used for initial medical responses. It is also equipped with a ultra-high pressure pump for fire suppression efforts.
Engine 1-1
Engine 1-1 is our second-run structural firefighting apparatus and back up for medical calls. The 1992 International chassis is fitted with a Darley 1250 gallon per minute pump capable of pushing water to nine separate outlets.
It carries a crew of five, 1000 gallons of water, medical gear and all initial attack firefighting equipment.

Engine 1-2
Engine 1-2 is a 2013 Sparten Star Series custom pumper. It is our first run engine to all structure fires, fire alarms, and car accidents. It features a 1500 GPM hail pump, 20 gallon foam cell, and a 1000 gallon poly tank. It is equipped with high-rise packs for multilevel structures such as hotels and apartment buildings. It carries assorted forcible entry hand tools, power tools, a gas-powered PPV fan, and 2 high output electric smoke ejectors. The truck also has a ventilation chain saw. There is also a 24 ft extension ladder, 2 14 ft roof ladders, and a 10 foot attic ladder. The cab seats 6 with various equipment such as a TIC (Thermal Imaging Camera) and 4-way gas detectors.
Rescue 9
Rescue 9 is a 1993 Freightliner, 6x6. This vehicle is the first run truck that responds to major medical calls, vehicle accidents, and fires. This vehicle seats up to 6 people for any type of call it is dispatched for. The equipment is has a primary as well as secondary medical equipment to include trauma, oxygen, vitals, burn kit, splints, backboards, keds, as well as other equipment. This vehicle contains equipment in the event of a Mass Casualty Incident and Extrication. There are two sets of all medical equipment with the exception of the AED. There is also forcible entry equipment, ventilation fans and portable lights. Our Extrication gear is Genesis portable unit with Spreaders, Cutters and Combination Tools. These tools are used to cut people out of vehicles when there is no other way to safely get them out after an accident. There are also hand tools that are used such as seat belt cutters, hack saw, glass cutter, spray bottle with soapy water and other tools.
Utility 1
Utility 1 is a 2002 Ford F250 Super-duty 4x4. This vehicle is for department and scene support. This vehicle seats up to 5 personnel.
Engine 4-1
Engine 4-1 is a 2003 F650 7.3L Turbo Diesel, 2WD, 1 Booster Reel. Holds 1000 Gallon Tank of water and a 300 GPM Pump. The Brush Fleet is used for Grass Fires.
Engine 6-1
2010 F550, 6.4L Turbo Diesel, 400 Gallon Tank of water. 300 GPM Pump. Holds Gallons of Foam. 1 Booster reel with 50 Feet hose, 1 Cross Lay on the back with 150 feet hose. It is a Type 6 Engine, 4WD
Engine 7-1
Is a 1986 Chevy 6.2 Diesel. 350 Gallon tank, 300 GPM pump, 4WD and a 75 foot Booster Reel.
Engine 3-1
Engine 3-1 is our County Mutual Aid truck also our wildland truck. It equipped with a 1,200 gallon tank, a front-mount water cannon, and front-end spraybar. It also has two hose reel discharges and has foam capability.
Tender 2-3
Tender 2-3 is built on a 2016 Freightliner M2 Chassis. This apparatus carries 3500 gallons of water for use in support of structure and wildland fires. Additionally it has a 500 GPM PTO pump for fire suppression or water transfer operations and also carries a 4000 gallon porta-tank, two self-contained breathing apparatus, along with other support tools and equipment.
